Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering with production ownership.
• Designed and scaled service-oriented architectures in Go, Java, or a comparable backend language.
• Experience building and operating distributed systems where correctness, availability, and data integrity are critical.
• Mentor engineers, lead technical design reviews, and raise code quality.
• Familiar with relational data stores, gRPC/Protobuf, and observability in a cloud-native environment.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of new financing products and features from architecture through production launch.
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and frameworks that support loan lifecycle management, risk calculations, and real-time position tracking.
• Drive engineering excellence by improving tooling, testing infrastructure, monitoring, and reliability.
• Partner with Product, Risk, Operations, and other teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen system resilience and ship safely at speed.
