Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of production-grade backend systems that power customer onboarding, billing, metering, and revenue operations. You will own cross-functional execution, drive architectural excellence, and build durable, scalable platforms that improve the customer journey and revenue engine.

Qualifications

• Production-grade backend systems design and ownership in cloud environments.
• Ability to navigate large codebases and drive architectural decisions.
• Experience building and operating distributed systems with fault tolerance and scalability.
• Experience with data pipelines and storage systems (PostgreSQL, Redshift, Kafka/Kinesis, S3).
• Experience integrating with third-party SaaS platforms (CRM, analytics) including idempotency and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical design for services powering customer acquisition, onboarding, and revenue operations.
• Define and evolve system architecture for high-throughput, fault-tolerant pipelines.
• Collaborate with Finance/RevOps/Sales to translate business needs into scalable systems.
• Build account lifecycle flows from acquisition to offboarding, including billing and plan changes.
• Design APIs and metrics surfaces for customers to understand spend with reliability.
