Temporal in Seattle is seeking backend engineers focused on cloud infrastructure to strengthen Temporal Cloud and its multi-tenant control plane. You will scale the data layer, automate operations, and improve developer experience across the platform.
You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to reduce blast radius, enhance resilience, and deliver safer CI/CD pipelines while striving for high availability and performance.
Qualificações
- Backend engineering experience with cloud/infrastructure focus.
- Experience on a control plane for cloud-based microservices.
- Background building or operating multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with density-oriented cloud provider architectures.
- Strong PostgreSQL (or similar) relational database experience.
- Track record designing for high availability and scalable compute/traffic.
- CLI and DevOps fluency.
Responsabilidades
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery—enable continuous regional failover and resilience.
- Control Plane Automation—automate operations for reliability and efficiency.
- Database Performance and Optimization—scale data layer while managing latency and reliability.
- Deployment Plane—redesign path from commit to production with robust tooling.
- CI/CD for Control Plane—build pipelines for safe rollouts and better test coverage.
