Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Senior Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend components for scalable, multi-tenant services. You will own durable execution, async processing, and workflow invocation through standard protocols.

In a fully remote setting, collaborate within the Compute and AI organization to craft an enterprise offering spanning on-prem and cloud deployments. Strong distributed-systems experience and Go or Java are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in production as an arranger/builder/enhancer of scalable distributed systems.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems concepts including multi-threading and concurrency.
• 2+ years building customer-facing APIs and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core backend service features for large-scale, multi-tenant systems.
• Provide unit, integration, and performance test coverage for your features.
• Document design choices and operational knowledge for deployment and operation.
• Deliver service-level logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and runbooks for production.
