Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Atlas Clusters Organization, building MongoDB Atlas and interfacing with AWS, Azure, and GCP to deliver secure, high-performance multi-cloud deployments.

The role sits on the Encryption & Compliance team, focusing on Encryption at Rest with BYOK and key management across cloud providers, designing production systems, and mentoring teammates while participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building large-scale distributed back-end systems (Java/Go).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Led the launch and production maintenance of a feature.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Nice to have: cloud KMS/Key Vault or encryption in a SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and design new features for MongoDB Atlas.
• Contribute to and lead complex technical projects.
• Work closely with product and design teams to consider user perspective.
• Collaborate with customers and support engineers to fix issues.
• Mentor team members and participate in on-call rotations.
