Job summary

PatientPoint is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend systems and AI-enhanced tooling. You will work across infrastructure, APIs, and development practices in a remote setup, contributing to a unified platform with Python, AWS, Elasticsearch, and modern tools.

Qualifications

• 6+ years backend engineering focused on enterprise-grade apps.
• 4+ years building scalable, high-availability microservices.
• 4+ years designing cloud-native architectures and IaC.
• 4+ years writing optimized SQL for relational DBs.
• 2+ years frontend with JS/TS and React/Angular.
• Advanced Python 3 expertise; coding assessment to confirm.
• Hands-on with AI-based development tools for production software.
• Experience with ad tech and analytics platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs in AWS.
• Develop scalable, high-performance solutions meeting business needs.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and reusable service designs.
• Ensure stability and performance of core platform services.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.
• Mentor peers and drive code quality improvements.
