Job summary

You will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor peers, and drive reliability across services while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• 4+ years building scalable microservices.
• 4+ years designing cloud-native architectures and IaC.
• 2+ years frontend development with JS/TS and React/Angular.
• Expert Python 3 proficiency evaluated via coding assessment.
• Experience with Elasticsearch or similar search tech.
• Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools like New Relic or Sentry.
• Experience with Docker, ECS, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs on AWS.
• Build scalable, high-performance software aligned with business needs.
• Participate in architecture discussions and implement clean, reusable solutions.
• Ensure stability, performance, and reliability of core services.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Conduct code reviews and promote quality improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Security, and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate coding and testing.
• Apply cloud-native best practices for architecture and security.
• Contribute to product iterations based on feedback.
• Support ad-tech platform integrations for healthcare content.
