Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering with ownership of production-grade apps.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specs with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in backend development with Java/Spring Boot and REST/microservices.
• Front-end proficiency with React or Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Relational DB design with NoSQL familiarity.
• Experience building cloud-native, scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring, incident response, and SRE concepts.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for coding and testing.
• Experience in Agile environments and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design discussions and architecture for enterprise apps and services.
• Drive best practices for scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Decompose business requirements into technical solutions with product and architecture teams.
• Identify technical debt and propose modernization strategies.
• Provide technical leadership through code/design reviews and mentoring.
• Lead small projects encompassing design, coding, debugging and deployment.
• Perform testing, debugging, and validation of applications.
• Develop scalable software components and systems; stay current with new tech.
• Collaborate with users to define system requirements and enhancements.
• Contribute to AI-assisted development workflows to boost productivity.
