Job summary
The Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Payments and Accounting Technology team. You will build and maintain APIs and services for internal and external-facing applications, and develop cloud-enabled solutions using AWS.
You will write high-quality code with solid test coverage and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, reliable Disney-wide payment systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience in software development.
- Full stack engineer with strong cloud, API, and UI capabilities.
- Experience with Angular, Node.js, Java and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS services and modern databases (NoSQL/SQL).
- Experience with testing, production readiness, and deployments.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain APIs and services for internal and external-facing applications.
- Develop and support applications using cloud-enabled solutions (AWS).
- Write high-quality, maintainable code with test coverage.
- Support and troubleshoot existing systems to maintain uptime and releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
