Job summary

Adonis is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in New York City to serve as the technical anchor for a growing backend AI team. You will design and ship agentic AI systems that operate at enterprise scale, set the engineering bar, and bring research ideas into production.

You will work on high-ownership projects, collaborating cross-functionally, and contribute to a culture of excellence with strong equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Formal CS background; MS a plus.
• Deep expertise in Python and its ecosystem.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks.
• Strong systems design and AWS experience.
• Willing to work in-person in NYC 3+ days per week.

Responsibilities

• Build robust AI systems at enterprise scale.
• Lead by example as IC and technical standard-bearer.
• Research state-of-the-art techniques and translate to practical engineering practices.
• Design lean systems with maintainable codebase.
