Job summary

ABM is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager in California to expand electrical and lighting accounts. You will own the sales process, partner with account managers, and develop tailored solutions for clients in a defined territory.

The role emphasizes strategic selling, pricing options, and robust proposals to win contracts. The position offers a strong base salary plus commissions, car allowance, and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities for growth within ABM’s facilities services

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
5+ years of related sales experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com (or similar CRM).
Strong ability to write compelling, detailed sales proposals.
Must be well organized and able to handle multiple proposals and processes simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Proactively seek out new business opportunities by cold calling and networking to secure first appointments with building owners.
Identify, plan and execute growth strategies for existing clients.
Partner with businesses to coauthor unique solutions.
Develop pricing options for service and maintenance agreements.
Generate and deliver impactful proposals leading to signed contracts.
Track all sales activities in Salesforce.
