Job summary

ABM Electrical Solutions is seeking an experienced electrician to perform lighting maintenance and related electrical services for commercial and retail sites in California. You will support branch operations, respond to service calls, and assist with retrofit projects while adhering to ABM policies and safety standards.

The role requires a General Journeyman Electrician certification, 2–5 years of field experience, and a valid DMV record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• General Journeyman Electrician certification required.
• 2–5 years of lighting maintenance experience for retail/commercial.
• Clean DMV record.
• Preferred: Aerial Lift Certification.
• Preferred: Boom truck experience 2–5 years.
• Preferred: 2+ years of writing estimates/quotes.
• Preferred: Microsoft Office 2007 (SharePoint, Outlook, Word).
• Preferred: OSHA 10hr certification.

Responsibilities

• Support ABM Mission & Vision.
• Support branch operations including planned and unplanned maintenance/service calls and project/retrofit delivery.
• Support customer satisfaction initiatives and processes.
• Ensure operations align with ABM Electrical Solutions Inc. policies, programs, procedures, systems, and guidelines.
• Foster teamwork between Sales and Service.
• Support Training & Safety initiatives.
• Maintain a clean DMV record.
• Provide monthly interior and exterior lighting maintenance for multiple retail locations.
• Operate on an established and repetitive route each month.
• Work daytime, nighttime and weekend hours as needed.
• Provide quotes to direct report service managers for additional work.
