Samsung Electronics America, Inc. in Plano, TX seeks a Senior Category Manager to own business performance for large B2B mobile categories, translating portfolio direction into actions with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Operations.

Develops the annual category plan, leads performance reviews, challenges forecasts, and drives recovery plans with cross‑functional partners; coordinates launches, pricing and ROI actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in category management, commercial product management or related
• Experience with revenue forecasts, pricing or promotions, lifecycle, inventory and performance

Responsibilities

• Develop the annual category plan and rolling outlook for revenue, units and mix.
• Lead category performance reviews and recovery plans with owners and milestones.
• Challenge demand forecasts using pipeline, commitments, run rate, inventory and signals.
• Build action plans for launches, promotions, funding, aging inventory and end‑of‑life transitions.
• Recommend pricing, promotions, investments and ROI; document baselines and upside.
• Coordinate with Product and GTM teams to execute B2B motions and enablement.
• Support with Supply Chain to address availability and timing.
• Synthesize insights for leadership and escalate as needed.
• Coach team members and improve category tools and processes.
