Job summary

SarelaTech is seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support DoD cloud modernization efforts in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM. You will design, engineer, implement, and sustain secure Azure cloud solutions in classified environments, with hands-on engineering throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has deep Azure architecture expertise, hybrid identity experience, and DoD RMF/STIG compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with extensive DoD/cloud experience.
• Active TS/SCI eligibility required.
• IAT Level II certification required.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• 5+ years building Azure enterprise cloud solutions.
• Experience bridging on-prem with Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Entra ID and hybrid identity.
• IaC using Terraform, Azure Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Azure CLI, PowerShell, and Python scripting.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for DoD missions.
• Design and deploy green-field Azure environments and hybrid architectures.
• Develop and maintain enterprise hybrid identity with Entra ID and AD.
• Engineer PAM, JIT access, ABAC/RBAC within Zero Trust.
• Design Landing Zones, governance, and CAF/Well-Architected frameworks.
• Create IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
• Configure secure Azure networking, monitoring, DR, and governance.
• Manage Entra ID governance features and RMF/STIG compliance.
• Collaborate with cyber, network, and dev teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• Produce architecture docs and implementation guides.
