Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support DoD cloud modernization initiatives in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role designs, engineers, and sustains secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions within classified environments, with a hands-on engineering focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience or a Master’s with 10+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification is required.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, engineer, and implement secure Microsoft Azure cloud solutions for DoD missions.
• Design green-field Azure environments and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Implement and maintain enterprise hybrid identity solutions using Entra ID and AD.
• Develop IAM, PAM, and Zero Trust controls across cloud environments.
• Create Azure Landing Zones and governance models following CAF and Well-Architected Framework.
• Build IaC using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates; automate with scripting.
• Configure secure networking (ExpressRoute, VPN, Firewall) and monitoring.
• Support ATO activities and RMF/STIG compliance; produce architecture docs.
