Job summary

Activision is seeking a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to work remotely, supporting the Finance Engineering stack. You will design, implement and manage Azure-based infrastructure, Linux servers, and automation, collaborating with Security and IT teams globally.

The role emphasizes automation, virtualization, and hybrid cloud capabilities, with a focus on scalable, enterprise-grade solutions across the organization. A strong background in Azure services and IaC is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as a Platform Engineer or similar
• Strong background in Linux and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Azure Cloud services (Azure NetApp File, AKV, Cloud Functions)
• Proficiency in Bash scripting
• Experience with IaC (Terraform), CI/CD tooling (ADO, GitHub)
• Config management (Puppet) and VMware administration
• Ability to design, implement and support mid-to-enterprise level solutions
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and modern cloud-native architectures

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Linux infrastructure operations
• Design, implement and optimize Azure cloud architecture
• Deploy and tune server and networking infrastructure
• Support disaster recovery, patching, backups and business continuity
• Develop and maintain configuration management and automation
• Document standards and procedures for IT Operations
• Collaborate with security to review configurations
• Create automation processes to improve infrastructure efficiency
• Collaborate across teams to meet global IT requirements
