Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design and support enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure. You will partner with Cloud, Application, Network, and Security teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions across Azure and on‑prem environments.

The role emphasizes AKS, Azure networking, CI/CD automation, and Windows Server administration, with a strong focus on automation, IaC, and governance. Remote work supported for a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT.
• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience deploying and managing AKS in production.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking concepts and services.
• Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity and Azure/on-premises integration.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience.
• Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices and tools.
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.
• Build, configure, and support AKS environments for containerized applications.
• Architect and maintain Azure networking components (VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, App Gateway).
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Support hybrid cloud architectures integrating Azure with on-premises datacenters.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, Group Policy).
• Monitor system health, performance, security, and capacity across cloud and on‑prem.
• Collaborate with application teams to optimize container platforms and cloud-native solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues across multi-cloud and on‑prem.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational best practices.
