Job summary

Rapid Finance is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and manage cloud infrastructure and applications in Azure. You will publish applications, research new cloud technologies, and guide DevOps practices while automating routine processes.

The role connects IT and software development to progress toward big-picture goals. You’ll join a dynamic team focused on scalable cloud environments, automation, and robust infrastructure for our growing solution portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Extensive Azure experience (resources, security, storage, networking).
• Experience with Kubernetes package managers (Helm, Terraform).
• Experience with Azure DevOps management (pipelines, publishing, config).
• Experience with SQL and administering web services.
• Experience administering Windows servers in a cloud environment.
• Understanding of core network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL).
• Experience building dashboards/monitoring for Azure services and clusters.
• Experience with CI/build deployment automation tools (TeamCity, Octopus).
• Experience with database management tools (e.g., Redgate).

Responsibilities

• Administer cloud infrastructure to support multi-application hosting.
• Research and implement security, storage and replication processes.
• Coordinate software publishing infrastructure and artifact management to cloud.
• Facilitate connectivity and support in a DevOps capacity.
