Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Senior AWS Sales Engineer (Remote) to lead presales architecture for AWS Cloud solutions. You will own senior technical relationships with partners, validate architectures, and ensure secure, scalable outcomes while guiding delivery teams and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities include designing AWS architectures, qualifying AI and security opportunities, drafting SOWs, and applying the AWS Well-Architected Framework to drive customer success across the cloud services

Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales engineering or related field.
• Hands-on or design-level AWS cloud architecture experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infra, networking, security, IAM, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Experience leading presales, architecture validation, and risk assessment.
• Experience drafting or approving SOWs and validating technical scope and delivery feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Own senior-level technical relationships and serve as primary technical advisor.
• Lead technical discovery, requirements analysis, solution qualification, and presales architecture for AWS cloud solutions.
• Design, review, and validate AWS architectures across cloud infrastructure, networking, security, identity and resiliency.
• Qualify and scope AWS AI and security opportunities, develop, review, and approve Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Identify and mitigate technical, operational, security, and project delivery risks before contract close.
• Collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, Architecture, and Delivery teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
• Mentor and enable Sales Engineers through architecture reviews, technical coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Apply AWS best practices, architectural governance, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Qualify and scope AWS AI and security opportunities, ensuring SOWs reflect data readiness, security, and governance requirements.
• Advise on partner technical standards, service offerings, cloud capabilities, and technology roadmaps.
