Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the AWS Plus team.

You will be the primary technical advisor to one or more Amazon business units, working with engineering teams to design, operate, and optimize AWS workloads at scale. You will go deep on customer domains, translate business goals into architectures, and make prescriptive recommendations on security, cost, performance, and reliability for large-scale workloads.

Qualifications

8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Knowledge of cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

Own the technical relationship with AWS customers' business units, translating goals into AWS architecture and adoption strategy.
Make prescriptive recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency for large-scale workloads.
Architect and advise on solutions across compute, storage, data and analytics, integration, and AI/ML per customer domain.
Guide adoption of generative and agentic AI capabilities, e.g., using Amazon Bedrock.
Work backwards from customer needs to translate requirements into well-architected designs and into feature requests that influence AWS roadmaps.
Collaborate with AWS account management, Customer Solutions Managers, AWS Support, service teams, and the broader Solutions Architecture community to deliver complete technical coverage.
