Collaborate with back-end engineers, define data models, optimize cost and performance, and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools. Strong communication and governance with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or data engineering with AWS focus.
• Experience migrating cloud data platforms in healthcare/enterprise.
• Translate reporting requirements into data models and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the next phase of healthcare data platform modernization.
• Migrate XML object stores to a scalable AWS data architecture for reports.
• Evaluate AWS data strategy and storage options (S3, Athena, Aurora, Redshift).
• Design and build SQL reporting layers for business users.
• Architect XML data migration and partitioning strategies.
• Develop AWS data catalog and metadata management.
• Optimize query performance and cost across AWS services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and back-end engineers for data flows.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure using AWS tools.
• Apply IaC with CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
