Verisys is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep AWS expertise to design, build, and secure the infrastructure behind our healthcare credentialing platform.

In this remote role based in Maryland, you will be our Linux SME, manage on-prem Nutanix, container platforms, and SSL/TLS management, while supporting Windows Server environments and automation across cloud, on-prem, and CI/CD pipelines.

Competenze

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or systems administration, including production workloads in AWS.
• Strong hands-on AWS security, networking, and best practices knowledge.
• Expert-level Linux administration; Windows Server administration experience.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, Systems Manager).
• Automate configuration and patching with Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Systems Manager.
• Own SSL/TLS certificate renewals and installation across IIS, Linux, and AWS; manage SMB and mail relay as needed.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting; support HITRUST and SOC 2 compliance.
