Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Ports and Marine Engineering to join our National Maritime Practice Group. The role can be based in Irvine, San Francisco, San Diego, Miami, Portland, Houston or Tampa.

We offer both Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities. The position leads the design, construction, and inspection of marine and port facilities, ensuring high-quality deliverables and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 10+ years of post-education engineering experience with marine/coastal design.
• Professional Engineering license (multi-state preferred) or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical staff, engineers and leads; track workloads.
• Mentor staff for growth and progression to project leads.
• Prepare calculations, cost estimates, drawings, specs and reports.
