Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Ports and Marine Engineering to join the National Maritime Practice Group. Roles include supervising engineers on port, marine, and rail terminal projects, and ensuring QA/QC standards.

Responsibilities span design, permit reviews, client presentations, and business development. A PE license and extensive marine experience are required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of post-education experience in marine and coastal design.
• Professional Engineering license required (multi-state preferred) or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical staff, track workloads, and forecast capacity.
• Mentor staff for growth into project leads and senior technical roles.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
