Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 15+ years related experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to apply strategic and long-range visionary thinking.
• Strong background in financial and budgetary matters; knowledge of group benefits is a plus.
• FSA and MAAA designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee key financial processes to obtain strategic growth and profitability for the Benefits & Protection Specialty Benefits segment.
• Drive financial outcomes and KPI measures of success.
• Oversee financial projections, reserve valuation, and financial reporting.
• Internal and external communication of results and drivers; drive process efficiencies and analytic improvement.
• Lead Specialty Benefits Finance team – 19 members; develop talent and leadership.
