Job summary

GE Aerospace in Grand Rapids is seeking a Senior Engineer – Project Management to oversee Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) products for a major program. You will lead day-to-day engineering project execution for CCS projects, including hardware refresh and sustainment across multiple LRUs.

You will own the integrated plan, schedule, cost, risk, and quality, coordinating a cross-functional IPT and interfacing with customers and suppliers. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering or engineering project management experience.
• Knowledge of project scheduling, cost tracking, and risk management; exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Familiarity with avionics development processes and standards (SAE ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160).
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional work and deliver against scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead CCS extension projects from award to production transition.
• Maintain integrated master schedule and manage critical path.
• Track cost and performance using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Maintain risk and opportunity register and change log.
• Coordinate with global IPTs to meet requirements on time.
• Travel to customer/supplier sites ~10%.
