GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Senior Engineer – Project Management to oversee the Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) products for a major program. You will lead day-to-day engineering project execution for CCS projects, owning the integrated plan, schedule, cost, risk, and quality, while coordinating a cross‑functional Integrated Project Team (IPT).

You will run the work with the FLIGHT DECK operating model and build expertise in CCS products, preparing for broader leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering or engineering project management experience.
• Basic knowledge of avionics development processes and standards (e.g., SAE ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160).
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work and deliver against scope, budget, schedule, and quality commitments.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead execution of the CCS extension projects from contract award through design, verification, certification, and production transition.
• Build and maintain the integrated master schedule for both projects.
• Manage the critical path, dependencies across product lines, and interfaces with suppliers and partner sites.
• Track project cost and performance using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Report CPI/SPI and variances, support EAC updates, and drive recovery actions with Technical Leads.
• Maintain the project risk and opportunity register, assumptions, and change‑request log.
• Identify obsolescence and supply‑chain risks early and work them to closure.
• Coordinate across global, cross‑functional teams to ensure deliverables meet requirements and are on time.
• Travel to customer, supplier, and partner sites as needed (~10%).
