Job summary

GE Aerospace in Florida is seeking a Senior Engineer - Project Management to oversee Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) products for a major program. You will own the integrated plan, schedule, cost, risk, and quality for CCS projects, coordinating an IPT and aligning with customers and stakeholders.

You will travel to customer and partner sites as needed, build expertise in CCS products, and support proposals and reviews for future contract years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field.
• 8+ years of engineering or engineering project management experience.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost tracking, risk management and EVM.
• Familiarity with avionics development processes and standards (ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160).
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and meet scope, schedule, and quality commitments.
• U.S. citizenship status is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of CCS extension projects from award through design to production transition.
• Create and maintain the integrated master schedule and manage critical paths.
• Track cost and performance using EVM, report CPI/SPI and variances, enable EAC updates.
• Maintain risk/opportunity registers and address obsolescence and supply risks.
• Set and track KPIs with Systems/Technical Leads and run daily management via FLIGHT DECK.
• Support proposals, cost walks, bid reviews, and NARs for follow-on work.
• Serve as engineering point of contact for customers and prepare status reports.
• Coordinate with global IPTs to ensure on-time deliverables that meet requirements.
