RTX's Collins Aerospace division in Cedar Rapids seeks a Senior Electrical/Power Engineer to design and develop avionics power conversion systems. You will tackle DC/DC and AC/DC designs across multiple power levels and frequency ranges, contributing to high reliability aerospace solutions.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree, plus knowledge of EMC/EMI, thermal stress, and magnetics design for power supplies.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree.
• Experience with power levels and frequency ranges, DC/DC and AC/DC power conversion designs.
• Experience with EMC/EMI, thermal stress and environmental issues and their impact on design methodology.
• Knowledge in power supply magnetics design.
• Experience in aerospace industry is a plus.
