The role covers hardware development lifecycle from pursuit to factory transition, collaborating across Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams to meet stringent product requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Typically requires STEM degree with 8+ years experience or advanced degree with 5+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze Circuit Card Assemblies for Avionics Computers.
• Work with lab equipment for integration testing of hardware designs.
• Schematic capture of digital/analog mixed signal circuits.
• Avionics I/O interfaces (Ethernet, ARINC 429, MIL-STD 1553, PCIe).
• Oversight of Printed Circuit Board layout.
• Design to Cost, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Test.
• Mentoring and delegating tasks to less experienced engineers.
