Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing/drafting mechanical parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Design and test robust electronics enclosures and mechanical assemblies.
• Create 3D CAD models and assembly drawings.
• Coordinate procurement of parts and assemblies.

Skills

Mechanical design and integration skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Familiar with ASME Y14.5 drafting standards

Education

A.S. degree in drafting and design or equivalent

B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

Tools

3D CAD software

PTC Creo 8.0 or equivalent
