Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Technical Designer - CAD III for the Lunar Permanence program in Seattle, WA. In this role, you'll create and release CAD models for avionics, collaborating with a skilled team to advance humanity's presence in space.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree in CAD and 4+ years in aerospace. Preferred candidates will hold a Bachelor’s in engineering and possess stronger professional experience. Excellent benefits package included.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in aerospace development or similar industry.
• Experience managing large CAD assemblies and BOMs.
• Proficiency in standard fits, tolerance stacks, and GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).

Responsibilities

• Preparing design layouts and releasing datasets using CAD tools.
• Reviewing engineering drawings to ensure compliance with standards.
• Interface with other teams to integrate avionics in vehicle models.
