Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced avionics hardware engineer to lead the development of boards and assemblies for spaceflight systems. You will own design from concept through production, including analog, digital and mixed-signal work interacting with sensors and actuators.

You will participate in architecture trades, risk analyses, DFx, and test verification while supporting mission assurance and safety initiatives within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field with 7+ years of hands-on electronics hardware development experience.
• Direct hands-on experience with analog, digital and mixed-signal circuit design, testing and layout.
• Experience with high-reliability, safety-critical aerospace hardware and verification processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop avionics hardware (boards and integrated assemblies) through all life-cycle stages from concept to production.
• Design analog and digital boards interacting with sensors and actuators, including verification and release.
• Support architecture trades, risk analyses, DFx, and root-cause analysis of test discrepancies.
• Contribute to program-level technology development and safety initiatives.
