Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking an Engineering Operations lead for the Core Avionics Team. You will manage budgets, schedules, WBS, and program plans across the electronics lifecycle from concept to flight hardware, partnering with manufacturing and test facilities.

You will drive cadence, coordinate reviews, mentor teams, and apply leadership principles to deliver flight-ready avionics hardware amid tight schedules and demanding performance requirements.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or closely related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in electronics design and manufacturing operations on technical projects.
• Experience with PCB design, component selection and manufacturing process optimization.
• Experience with SMT and through-hole assembly, conformal coating, testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IPT operating cadence and report key performance metrics.
• Instrument and monitor electronics design and manufacturing processes to reduce cycle time.
• Coordinate with Lunar Management Operations to integrate Core Avionics into program cadence.
• Lead reviews, provide weekly reporting, and support agile planning and capacity planning.
• Mentor teams and drive handoff from design to manufacturing.
