Job summary

RTX, Collins Aerospace division in Cedar Rapids, IA, seeks a Sr. Equipment Systems Engineer to design avionics computing, graphics, and networking hardware from concept to certification.

You’ll ensure high-performance, compliant systems and collaborate across software, hardware, test, and manufacturing teams. You will lead verification, validation, and trade studies, mentoring junior engineers and driving engineering excellence while interfacing with customers and stakeholders to exceed

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required or advanced degree with related experience.
• 5+ years in systems engineering, preferably in aerospace or avionics.
• Experience with ARP4754B/DO-178/DO-254/DO-160 standards preferred.

Responsibilities
