Job summary

You will decompose customer requirements into system and software level specs, drive test plans, and contribute to design and integration efforts within a demanding aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in CS/EE or related field with 5+ years in software engineering; advanced degree accepted in lieu of experience.
• 5+ years in Safety Critical Embedded software development using languages like C, C++, Ada, Python.
• 5+ years of DO-178B/C development experience; Avionics industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team daily and coordinate with engineering and project management.
• Decompose customer specifications into subsystem requirements and define verification plans.
• Manage quality, cost, schedule, and scope for large/complex projects; drive risk management.
• Participate in feature development tasks including design plans and integration testing.
• Evaluate investments or changes in technology to improve product and service quality.
