Gulfstream is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician 3 in Westfield for first shift. Travel for customer support may be required. Strong avionics and testing expertise are essential to ensure defect-free aircraft and adherence to engineering changes.

Minimum 5 years in avionics/electrical fields with possible credit for aviation electronics schooling; A&P/FCC/NCATT preferred. The role involves setup, testing, and documentation of work and may involve flight tests as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years experience in an avionics/electrical career field.
• 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics may offset two years of experience.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates superior technical skills and expertise in avionics and ACFT systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Installs and tests electrical/avionics components per drawings and manuals to ensure defect-free systems.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of installations; troubleshoots to provide timely repairs.
• Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring per standards, including splicing, soldering and pinning.
• Oversees adherence to engineering changes and modifications.
• Sets up and operates test equipment; conducts functional and operational tests.
