Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician III at the GAC Mesa facility. The role focuses on testing, troubleshooting and repairing avionics/electronic aircraft systems to ensure defect-free aircraft.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 5 years in avionics/electrical fields; A&P, FCC or NCATT certification preferred. 2nd shift and weekend shifts available, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years experience in an avionics/electrical career field.
• 2 years accredited schooling in aviation electronics may offset two years of experience.
• A&P, FCC or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise while performing tests and repairs of avionics/electronic systems to ensure a defect free aircraft.
• Defines and implements process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising Safety or Quality.
• Operates test equipment and conducts functional/operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
• Ensures daily logs and paperwork are properly documented.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

5 years experience in avionics/electrical field

2 years accredited schooling in aviation electronics

A&P/FCC/NCATT certification preferred
