Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a skilled avionics/electrical technician to perform advanced testing and repair of aircraft systems. Qualifications

• Six years of avionics/electrical experience; or two years of accredited aviation electronics schooling and four years of related experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in aircraft avionics systems.
• A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced operational, functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electrical systems to ensure a defect-free aircraft.
• Lead by example, providing technical guidance and training to support workforce development.
• Install and test avionics/electrical components per engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Diagnose system discrepancies and perform high-quality repairs to minimize schedule impact.
• Repair or replace wiring and components using approved techniques including splicing, soldering, and pinning.
• Conduct engineering changes and modifications compliance.
• Set up and operate test equipment; perform performance and reliability evaluations.
• Ensure all work is documented in logs and maintenance records.
• Pre-inspect work prior to quality inspection to reduce rework and improve efficiency.
• Support team leadership to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
