Gulfstream Aerospace seeks an Avionics / Aircraft Electrical Technician 3 to join our Palm Beach, FL team. You will provide advanced testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics and electrical systems on business jets, with opportunities to mentor colleagues and support final phase testing and certifications.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, 5 years in avionics/electrical work (2 years of aviation electronics schooling may offset), and English proficiency.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of avionics/electrical field experience (2 years schooling may offset).
• Strong experience troubleshooting avionics and aircraft electrical systems.
• Business jet avionics troubleshooting experience preferred.
• A&P, FCC, or NCATT certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Knowledge of avionics systems and other aircraft subsystems.
• APU and engine run qualifications preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Able to work any shift.

Mansioni

• Provide advanced technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics and electrical systems.
• Perform testing to ensure defect-free aircraft delivery.
• Install and test avionics/electrical components per specs and manuals.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and mentor team members.
• Repair or replace wiring and components using approved methods.
• Set up test equipment and verify system performance.
• Document work in logs and required paperwork.
• Support engineering changes while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Pre-inspect work to reduce rework and improve efficiency.
• Enforce FOD, tool control, 5S and safety programs.
• Coordinate across disciplines to meet production schedules.
• Support final phase testing and potential flight tests.
