Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years avionics/electrical experience.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.
• Reads blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates superior technical skills in avionics and aircraft testing and troubleshooting.
• Installs and tests electrical/avionics components per engineering specs.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations; troubleshoots to provide timely repairs.
• Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring to meet conformity.
• Oversees engineering changes and modifications as required.
• Sets up and operates test equipment; conducts functional tests.
• Maintains daily logs and paperwork; documents all work.
• Pre-inspects work before submission to inspection to reduce rework.
• Enforces FOD, tool control, 5-S and safety regulations.
• Coordinates with other disciplines on projects.
