Gulfstream Aerospace Westfield is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician 3 to perform testing, troubleshooting and repairs on avionics and electrical systems. Responsibilities include installing components per specifications, training others, and maintaining meticulous documentation.

Requires 5 years in avionics/electrical, HS diploma or GED, and preferred A&P/FCC/NCATT credentials. Travel up to 50% and first shift availability are noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years experience in avionics/electrical field.
• 2 years accredited schooling may offset two years experience.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs operational tests and repairs of avionics/electronic systems to ensure defect-free aircraft.
• Teaches installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per specs and manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of installations; troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning systems.
• Reads blueprints and schematics; repairs wiring with proper techniques (splicing, soldering, pinning).
• Coordinates with other disciplines; maintains required logs and paperwork.
