Gulfstream Aerospace Westfield is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician 2 for the second shift to support installation, testing and troubleshooting of aircraft systems. You will work on avionic/electrical components, perform functional tests and document results to ensure safety and schedule adherence.

Requires high school diploma or GED and four years in avionics/electrical field or two years schooling plus two years related experience. A&P license and NCATT/FCC are preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required; four years experience in avionics/electrical career field or two years accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus two years related experience.
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred; FCC and NCATT preferred.

Mansioni

• Demonstrates technical skills in avionics testing and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
• Performs installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per engineering specs and manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of installations; troubleshoots processes to provide timely, quality repairs.
• Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring to meet conformity and safety requirements.
• Sets up and operates necessary test equipment; conducts functional and operational tests.
• Documents all work for inspection and maintains test equipment and systems.
