Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and maintain computer hardware components for award winning avionics systems. This is an onsite position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

You will review obsolete parts, design and analyze circuits, supervise PCB layout, troubleshoot with lab equipment, and contribute to estimates. The role offers strong benefits and long term growth within RTX Collins team.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Requires U.S. Person status for ITAR/EAR access to information or hardware.
• 3+ years of experience designing and analyzing analog and digital circuits using schematic capture tools.

Responsibilities

• Review obsolete parts and provide resolution.
• Design and analyze digital and analog circuits with schematic/tools and simulations.
• Characterize signals using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Supervise PCB layout and provide hands-on troubleshooting in lab.
