Collins Aerospace in Burnsville, MN is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and maintain computer hardware components for avionics systems. This onsite role requires a U.S. Person status.

You will review obsolete parts, design and analyze circuits, test with lab equipment, and contribute to verification and engineering estimates. The position offers extensive benefits and is based in the RTX Collins aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person with access to ITAR or EAR information or hardware.
• 3+ years of experience designing and analyzing analog and digital circuits using schematic capture tools and performance simulation tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain awareness of obsolete parts on assigned products and provide resolution.
• Design and analyze digital and analog circuits using schematic capture tools and performance simulation tools.
• Characterize digital and analog signals using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and related test equipment.
• Design and analyze digital circuits including processors, memory, interfaces and their performance characteristics.
• Provide supervision and technical guidance for PCB layout.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting using engineering lab equipment.
• Validation and verification to ensure products meet design specs.
