Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Avionics Controllers Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end integration and verification of embedded controllers across spaceflight hardware. You will plan and execute HIL testing, diagnose issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety-critical performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in integration, testing, and troubleshooting of embedded systems or avionics hardware.
• Experience with HIL test environments including planning, execution, and data analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, and power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical execution for multiple embedded controllers and verification.
• Lead anomaly triage and root cause analysis with cross-functional SMEs.
• Define integration success criteria and verification strategy, plan and execute HIL testing.
• Troubleshoot avionics and perform harness checkout/integration using RS‑422/RS‑485 and analog signals.
• Partner with vehicle and subsystem teams to define constraints and verification evidence.
