Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Principal Avionics Lead to head an electrical design and integration team. You will guide design through fabrication, testing, and production transition across multiple circuit cards including analog, digital, and power electronics.

Active DoD Secret clearance is required. Expect collaboration with government customers and suppliers, with some travel and onsite work at the Tucson site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and production support.
• Decomposing high-level requirements into actionable electronic designs and architectures.
• Experience with electrical sub-systems, systems engineering, requirements development, validation, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical integrity of electronics and TDP development, validation, and TE integration.
• Manage costs and schedule for design, verification, and hardware procurement.
• Provide technical oversight of failure investigations and risk management.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers; travel may be required.
