Job summary

HNTB Corporation in San Francisco, CA seeks a Senior Project Manager in Aviation Planning to lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex airport programs.

You will own project scope, budgets, schedules, and client relations, and mentor staff while delivering master plans, environmental permitting, and terminal modernization efforts. This role requires strong leadership, 12 years of relevant experience in planning or related fields, and a track record of successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Engineering, Geology, Biology, Environmental Science, Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field and 12 years relevant experience.
• 4 years of successful management of projects.
• Experience leading large teams inside and outside of HNTB using sub-consultants.
• American Institute of Certified Planner (AICP), Registered Landscape Architect (RLA), Registered Architect (RA), Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotations and assist in preparation of technical proposals and contracts.
• Liaise with client and manage project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets to client’s satisfaction.
• Lead design documents, technical plans, and written reports.
• Implement project delivery plan using SDA and lead development and execution of project management plan.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, development, retention, and succession of project staff.
• Support business development and pursuit efforts for mega projects; prepare proposal and presentation materials.
