Job summary

Invenergy LLC in the United States seeks an experienced AVEVA PI System specialist to act as the subject matter expert for OT data integrations. You will configure data collection from SCADA, DCS, RTUs and PLCs into PI, maintain AF, interfaces, and PI Vision, and lead reliability improvements.

The role includes developing automation in Python/PowerShell/.NET, supporting control center data pipelines, onboarding new projects, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments including Data Archives, PI Collectives, Asset Framework (AF), Interfaces, Connectors, Adapters, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, and PI Vision.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts, including identifying and troubleshooting communication issues.
• Proficiency with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, PowerShell, and Python

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems, with a primary focus on the AVEVA PI System and associated data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection into the AVEVA PI System from OT platforms, including SCADA systems, DCSs, RTUs, PLCs, and other data sources.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and custom telemetry feeds to third parties using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions and integrations.
