Job summary

Bosch is expanding its team with a Senior Vehicle Hardware Engineer (Electrical & System Integration) to define and scale vehicle hardware for ADAS and autonomous test fleets. You will translate software and perception requirements into automotive-grade electrical architectures and wire harness solutions.

The role leads hardware bring-up, diagnostics, and cross‑functional collaboration with perception, compute software, and safety teams to ensure robust interfaces and power budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in automotive electrical engineering or system hardware integration for ADAS/AV.
• Deep understanding of CAN, CAN‑FD and Automotive Ethernet.
• Hands-on with tools like Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark, scopes, multimeters, logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical architecture and power distribution for high‑performance compute nodes and sensor payloads.
• Oversee fabrication of automotive‑grade wire harnesses and interconnect assemblies.
• Integrate CAN‑FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN with hardware time synchronization (PTP/IEEE 802.1AS, PPS).
• Lead electrical bring‑up and diagnostics on prototype vehicles using standard lab equipment.
• Collaborate with perception, compute software, and safety teams on interfaces and power budgets.
